I am a composer from the mid Michigan region. I hold a Bachelor's of Music composition from Michigan State University where I studied with composers Charles Ruggiero and Dr. Mark Sullivan, and a Master's of Music from the University of Maryland where I studied with Thomas DeLio. Currently I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Utah where I've worked Maneula Meier, Miguel Chuaqui, and Elisabet Curbelo.

My music is maximalistic. I mix together noise, tonality, atonality, electronic recordings, samples, language, folk music, and anything else possible in order to find the limits of a sound's trace, for where a sound can go involves the whole history of a sound's development.
